Default H1-B Renewal / I-94 expired
Hello,

This is the first time that I post something on your forum.

I have the following situation:

I transfer my visa to a new employer a year and a half ago. However, I did not re-stamped my passport to show the new authorized period to work in the US. Now, eventhough I have an authorized visa until Feb. '09, my I-94 and my current visa stamp expire on 10/01/07.

My question is: Could I stay with in the US after 10/01/07, since my visa renewal authorization has an I-94 that goes until Feb. 09? Or i have to leave the US and have my passport re-stamped.

I hope you can help me.
