I know, it is logical and legal way to do it, but for a simple individual, going to Court doesnt sound too much fun. Though I know courts here and India are different.. I hope .. i get treated fairly...

you do not have a project so you are not paid. even though law says you should get paid all the time. you have to think abt ur employer also. My logic is if you want to get paid then find a project immediately and start the work or just listen to ur employer and run the payroll for 1 or 2 pay stubs and then initiate the h1 transfer.
Dont make it a big deal.
If you dont like my idea just ignore.
