Hello,
I had a 2 year EAD expiring in Aug 2012. I applied for EAD/Adv parole combo card which is valid from 8/12/12 to 8/11/13 ie it is valid only for 1 year. I am from India and my priority date is Sept 2006 in EB3 category. I did request to issue the combo card for 2 years. Is there any to address the situation ie to get a 2 year EAD and adv parole. I have to pay the fees associated with EAD and Adv parole because I applied I 485 under old fee structure. I would appreciate any advice. I did read that combo card is issued for 1 or 2 years depending on the case. I would assume my case would be for 2 year validity. Am I better off applying them separately in future so that atleast I get EAD for 2 years. Please advise. Thanks.
