For a while, I have been talking about using my EAD. The time has come and I will be using my EAD to move to a new employer from March. I am aware of all EAD related faq.

My question is more payroll and multiple jobs related. My old employer will owe me a lot of money even after I move to the new employer.

Can I continue to take payroll checks from my old employer even after I move to the new employer?

So,in essense, I will have two jobs; both in same or similar field.

Are there any implications of this with regards to my pending I-485 application?

Please enlighten me :D I don't want to loose all the money I have earned

Thanks

Hello,

please anyone who is working on EAD and is also a primary filed for 485. what are your views on this......

a person has a valid ead/ap and he is gone outside the country for some work purpose and uscis denies his 485 in an illegal way like for eg: (denying AOS applications that have been pending more than 180 days when an employer revokes an I-140). how will he enter USA then ??can he file MTR when he is outside the US with the help of a lawyer ?

Thanks,

Please do not hi-jack threads like this. This is not related to the question I asked. Open a new thread if you feel so compelled.

Yes. As a matter of fact, you can hold two jobs even when you are on H1-B.

Are there any implications of this with regards to my pending I-485 application?

No. For I-485, you need to show that your "future" employment offer does comply with all the wage and other requirements.

Hmmm...I would assume that the new employer would now take over the "future" employement offer based on the AC-21 portability and comply as such? Is that correct?

Yes, whichever is your "future" employment offer, that must comply with the requirements.
