IV- Midwestern and Physician members : Teleconference

Dear Midwest IV members,

A teleconference of considerable importance is scheduled this sunday 8/19 at 9.15 pm CST. Information will be provided about the upcoming rally and there will be an opportunity to discuss ongoing legislative efforts and iv action items. Everyone must attend.

How to join?
Formal invitations with details have been sent to the following chapters:
MN, WI, IL, MI and Physicians

If any other active midwestern chapter wishes to join in, please let me know. If you do not have a state chapter, either help create one (great option!) or join the state chapter nearest to you from the above list.
If individual members from other regions want to join in, they must provide complete contact information before call details can be provided.

Midwest IV members have been an active and important component of this organization and it's efforts. We want a strong presence in DC 9/18, to continue that tradition.

is it really true that we as a community only care about notices and receipts and only fight about PD/RD and ND? those seem to be the overwhelming majority of active threads....

we may win the battle and all hold receipts soon, then lose the war as we settle in to wait 10 agonizing years for a gc. please think about it, long and hard.

Here are some of the items that will be discussed on the call:

a) Update on the DC Rally - flights, travel, hotels etc etc (A lot of discussion will go into this).
b) IV Merchandise update.
c) Action Items.
d) Other items.

Many of the IV core members will be on the call to answer your questions/doubts etc.

I am an H1B and have 4 dependants as H4s. My Labor Certif was submitted as EB3 on 08/06/07 is "In Process" .... I still don't know how far or close I am from the GC. I will like to participate and understand better this process.

since indiana does not have a state chapter, please join the IL chapter,
anilsal will be glad to guide you through the hoops.
please join us on the call on sunday, you will hear how iv is working to ease retrogression for all of us. If at all possible, plan on being in DC on 9/18 for the first ever rally by legal skilled workers to highlight our problems.
