I-140 Processing / Premium Processing...

Basically, I need answers to 3 questions :

1) Premium Processing for I-140 is still suspended, right?

2) My Labour has been approved. Can I apply for I-140 tomorrow under normal processing (since Point 1 is true)?

3) I know that I-140 under premium processing takes 15 days. How much time does it take for I-140 approval under normal processing.

Yes, PP for I-140 is still suspended

I read somewhere that is can take 10 plus months (avg)

Yes you can apply for I-140, Also if your PD is current you can file I-140 and AOS concurrently.

Dont expect for premium for I-140 any time soon.

Basically it means I-140 application does not depend on PD, right?
Where can I check the current PD? Can somebody please post a link?

If I apply for I-140 now, can I extend my H1 (for 7th year) as it will expire soon? Or what else will happen now.

1) 140 does not depend on PD

2) You can get the current PD from visa bulletin

3)You can apply 7th year H extension based on pending 140. If your 140 is approved, you can apply for 3 years extension

that means I cannot file for extension of H1 (expires in Nov.) until my I-140 is approved, right?

or can I extend H1 immediately after just applying I-140?

You can extend your H1 for 1 Year if the Labor filled date is Greater than 365 days. (Even if you have not applied for 140).

you can extend your H1 for 3 years if your 140 is approved.

Just thought I will chime in. Processing times posted by USCIS are completely meaningless. They are not worth anything. My 140 was cleared by NSC in exactly 6 months while they reported a 10 month wait ! I was mulling whether I should upgrade to PP and got my approval in regular.

So don't try to plan anything based on what they say ;)

Can you throw some light on your PD and Category? I read somewhere that older PD can actually expedite the 140 processing .
