Hi All,
I have done my physical examination for INS at one healthcare provider.
Before doing the physical examination I have asked them whether they participate in my (aetna) and they said yes.
After doing the physical examination and completing the INS document healthcare provider gave a bill saying INS examination.
Now when I submit this claim to the insurance company they have denied it saying that INS physical examination claim can not be covered.
Is INS Physical examination different from a normal Physical Examination ?
If my understanding is correct, for INS purpose, physical examination has to be done by a participating civil surgeon and performs the normal physical examination. Only thing is that after the examination doctor fills certain forms and gives in a sealed envelope.
Is my understanding correct here ?
And who is to be blamed here . Is the doctor or the insurance ?
Thank You all
