All Houstonians:

Please join us for a conference call on Friday, Nov 30 @ 9.30 PM CST.

Agenda-
1. Get a count of all individuals who are interested in meeting with
the law makers
2. Set a date/ time to provide the necessary training - talking
points, IV agenda ,etc.
3. Identify an individual who will take responsibility for setting up
these appointments and following through with the lawmaker offices.
3. Identify 4-5 members who will be interested in calling Texas
members to help with the fund raising drive.
4. Misc items- next meeting,etc.

Please join us and volunteer as you see fit. We have another two
months to make an impact on the omnibus bills. Let us make a difference.

If anyone in Texas has individually secured lawmaker appointments, and are representing IV, please make sure that you follow the template that IV has set. We have some standard presentation materials, business cards, and talking points that we want to use. This helps us send a consistent message to all lawmakers across the country and keep our focus on the issues that matter to us. Also, we want to track how the meeting went, what their stance was and what follow up we need to do.

Please get in touch with me so I can provide you all the material. It would do us all more good to present a cohesive front.
