H1B extension RFE for a direct employee

Hi all,

I got an RFE email a couple of days back on H1B extension filed in May. Did not receive the hard copy yet. I am wondering what it could be as I am a direct employee. I know that I am shooting in dark but can anyone with similar experience could tell what it could be? How many days it usually takes to receive the hard copy?

You'll know once you receive it. There could be several different reasons for an RFE and it varies from case to case. You will have ample time to send in the evidence, so no worries.

Thank you furiouspride. My HR did not send the pay stubs. They said not needed. I am assuming that might be the reason. Keeping my fingers crossed. Till I receive the hard copy I cannot stop thinking about it.
