Hi All,

I am in the process of changing my jobs and my PD is current. I have an opportunity to have my own attorney for I-485 and I need some input regarding who is a good attorney in Boston area who has lot of experience in AC21 and filing MTR cases.

I was thinking of Murthy and Ron Gotcher as I have heard good things about them. Are Murthy or Ron better than lot of attorneys in Boston?

My 485 case is been handled by ron gotcher firm. i can only say untill i didnt make him lawyer i was very happy with him as he is so impressive on his blog. visiting his blogs made me change my mind and i switched my lawyers and went with RON. Once i am his client my bad days started and now I am repenting my move.

his prospective clients (who ask him questions on forums) are better served then his actual client like me. if you need details send me a PM

Good Luck !!!

I had the best possible attorney experience with Ron Gotcher. He took care of my case(end to end) in 2 business days and I have referred him to many friends and all of them had positive results.

My last H1 extension(June 2010) was handled by Jim Gotcher(Ron's son) and he handled it extremely well. I never felt like I was dealing with an attorney. He was and still is like my friend I can bank on for a very genuine legal advice. I also got good advice I needed regarding starting my own company.

I think Murthy probably charges on hourly basis but Gotcher Law Firm did all the advisory work as part of H1 xtn legal fee. I'll recommend them to anybody who needs a immigration attorney.

ok I am confused about Ron Gotcher. Conflicting opinion about him looking at the above posts. Also confused about murthy. I read some post on other thread asking to stay away from murthy as they screwed up two cases.

Anyone used following:

1) Lawrence Bastone

2) Kaplan, O'Sullivan & Friedman, LLP
