Senate today:

Monday, Nov 29, 2010

2:00 p.m.: Convene and begin a period of morning business.

Thereafter, resume consideration of S.510, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act.

Two things:

1. Will the Dream Act be introduced today?
2. Irony: 2:00pm - being morning business ;) No wonder our waiting times are in decades!

Is visa recapture part of the this proposed dream act..? If not then it will be of no use to any of the legal workers in the EB row.

The Senate vote on a motion to table the DREAM cloture vote, which took place moments ago, reflected a strategic decision to buy time to build more support for the DREAM Act.

Senate Today:
Thursday, Dec 16, 2010
9:30 a.m.:
Convene and proceed to executive session to consider 111-5, the START Treaty.

When the Senate Republicans said nothing can be discussed/voted before the tax bill - did they mean its complete passage or just its passage in the Senate?
With just a few days left in the session, will they be able to take up all issues they have lined up?
