Infopass exp - Does anyone know what it means?

Went to Charleston office today as that is closest to where I stay. The guy there said that the fingerprints and the name check has come back to the office. I asked him if it means it was cleared but all he said was they are back to their office and 485 is pending. He did not give any other info.

Does anyone know what does it mean that FP and BC are back. Charleston office was the one who had taken my FP's.

Today i had infopass appointment in Denver Colorado. IO said no matter what my NC has to be cleared before it can be approved. When i told him about '485 can be approved if NC pending for more than 180 days', he said it is applicable only after June 2009. Until then every person has to clear NC before it can be approved. He asked me to check back in November 2008 (by then all NC will be cleared if it is pending for more than one year).

I took a infopass on 05/14/2009 and inquired about my I-485 and I-140. Today (05/15/2009), my and my wife's I-485's update date changed to 05/15/2009. Previous update date was Sept, 2007. Not sure if updates are related to infopass. I did not ask anything about my wife's case though. Please post if anyone had similar experience. Thanks.

it triggers a LED - which means your 485 case status will glow - this is just to differentiate between other things and your infopass - there seems to be no other mechanism and thats why they adopted this mechanism.

Just kidding - don't get so obsessed with LUDS
