RFE on I-485

I see that RFE is requested on my I-485 along with my wife application. I haven't received the notice yet. Could you please let me know if any july 2007 filers have RFEs on their cases.

Hi,

Most of the I-485 RFEs I have heard/seen so far is related to (1) AC-21 and (2) Birth Certificate, but your case may be different. All the best.

I received RFEs from my attorney and mine is on BC and my wife's is on Marriage Certificate + marriage photo and USCIS requested me to submit non avialability ceritifcate. I do have a BC with all the details but registered date is oct,2007 (That's when i applied for BC) instead of old date.

Is it a problem ? Do i have to submit anything more

It needs to with in 1 year. Can we get a non-availability certificate stating there no BC registered with in 1 year of birth date?.

I got an RFE email both for me and wife (9/03 from NSC). How long does it take to arrive in mail?.

Does anybody has format for Non-availability of Birth Certificate? If yes, can somebody post the format please..

It should come with in a week. It all depends on whether you filed your I-485 through attorney or not. For me they send it on 08/29/08. My attorneys informed me on 09/04/2008.

I had got RFE email on 8/28/08. I got the letter today in mail.

My mother's name on G325A was written as her mainden name (as per form instructions) and its her married name on my BC. Now USCIS finds this discrepancy and needs evidence to establish my parentage. I will have to submit my BC which is already been done. I am not sure if that will suffice.

Has anyone else had similar issue?

I was issued on 20th, Aug. but neither me nor my attorney got no clue. some received it within a week but some like me - 2 weeks passed already but still waiting. hope you will get yours soon. please share here when you do so.

Probably what you need is an affidavit confirming your mother's both names.
That's my opinion.

Today i and my spouse received RFE for 485 (email) . The reasons are yet to know.

Please let me know if you know these points....

Does Visa number will assign for my case?
if NOV bulliten is not current , will NSC still process my application or i got to go back to the Q ?
