My PD is Aug 6th 2006 and EB2 Category, I have been working at a client location for company A that was the primary vendor for the client on H1B for close to 5 years. Then my company lost the contract with the client and new company B took over. I joined the new company B. since I have EAD they refused sponsor H1B, Since then I got married and My wife stayed back in India because I dont have H1B, I requested my company B again they did not oblige. So I joined one more company C just so that I could continue working at the same client location. This new company C has contract with Company B, Company C applied for H1B but was denied since we could not prove that Company C had direct contract with the client. Now I asked my wife to apply for visitors visa and she has appointment in a weeks time. I am also trying to look for a suitable job which would apply for my h1B, But then GC PD date is also advancing and I dont have lots of time. Nothing is working out and I have lost all the hopes except the visitor's visa now.
My question is, will they consider giving my wife Visitor's visa or will they just deny it due to teh fact that my PD is very close.
Will this cause any issue for getting her GC in the future (using follow to join)
Can I apply for follow to join for her when she is here in US, Not in the US (I am aware of the 30/60/90 days rule) but initiate to get the GC in India.

Thanks for the help.

It is unlikely they will grant a Visitor Visa to your spouse. The best bet is follow to join.

Yea, I know, it's just that there's too much social pressure on me. I promised to get her here on H1B when I got married also because company B agreed to sponsor me and at the last minute they backed out, leaving me with little time to do anything.

Would it cause any problem in the future if vistor's visa is denied?

F1 Student Visa will be easier and better.

I would think even F1 will be denied for the same reason citing intent to immigrate.
