Have you already filed your AOS and trying for consular processing now or you don't have an AOS pending?

Sorry for the ignorance, what you mean by AOS. My I-140 is approved and 485 pending

For an approved I-140, where the 485 is pending, I think there is a procedure to change it to consular process....dunno how long that will take.
Note that AC-21 is not available for CP cases. Generally, well versed attorneys will chose CP in the I140 application & changing from CP to AOS is seamless. But dunno again what the procedure is to change back to CP after filing 485.
ALso no EAD/AP available for CP. Need to maintain H1

AOS = Adjust of Status = I-485 . In other words, AOS and 485 means the same thing.
