Co-incidence..I came on this date too...I guess if you stay out of the country countinously for 6 months you become an NRI

If NRI = Not Returning to India
Then, From the date you landed on the foreign land, you are an NRI.:D
Else, When you start feeling that you belong to this foreign land, you became an NRI.

Have you evolved into NRI and don't know when the transition happened? Is that what you are asking?
