All,

My wife is going for stamping this friday at Hyderabad Consulate for H1B Stamping. We totally forgot about the submission of documents prior to 4 days in advance. Today She is going to submit those.
Is it ok if we miss by 2 days? Is anybody faced the same situation. please let us know.

She is full time direct employee instead of a consultant.

Now we are really tensed about the situation.

Regards and Thanks

Call embassy and let us know what happens.
Most likely you will have to take new appointment.

Hi Mach,

I went for H1b (7th year) extension at US consulate Hyderabad early June 2011. When we waiting in queue, there were folks who hadn't submitted any documents before interview and they were OK. Only your wife will have to wait some more time if she submits the documents on the same day of interview.

I work for fortune 500 company as a direct employee. I have been given 221(g) blue slip for petition not being displayed in PIMS. So I have cancelled my US return ticket and the great wait begins....

Good luck to your wife for her visa stamping.

My wife went to the consulate on Friday for her appointment. But she didn't submitted the documents as stated earlier but then consulate folks took the documents and asked her to come on Monday at 8 AM. She went today at 8AM to Hyderabad Consulate.
The interview went well, they asked some questions on her company and also about me. That is all and told her visa got granted and it will come in mail.

Mach
