My 485 denied, help me please :(

I did con current filing for my I-140 and I-485 on Aug 2007, I got my EAD card with in 3 months, When I applied for my EAD and AP renewal this year, I got a denial notice from USCIS saying my I-485 is no longer pending but I checked the web site it says it is still pending, upon calling USCIS, they said wed site is not updated regularly. But my I-485 did get denied. But I never received I-485 denial notice nor RFE on that. I checked with my lawyer also on this, even he did not received any notice.
I am still on H-1 and I did not change my employer nor I used my EAD (I just took that as a back up). I am on 9th year h1 extension now. Please help me out here what to do next.

Did they give any reason as to why it was denied?
1. Get an infopass appointment and get more details on why it was denied and if any denial notice was sent and where it was sent.
2. Usually there is an RFE and it that is unanswered it gets denied. So you need to check if your attorney messed you up.
3. First try to get details if possible on why it was denied and where the letter was sent and any reasons etc
4. you can open a case to reopen with the MTR appeal. But it will take up to 1 year to get some kind of progress in cases of MTR.

Time is of essence here you need to move quickly to get the data and move or you will be sent a notice of deportation soon

Check whether you I140 denied first, probably your 485 denied based on 140. So check that one first. I think you status ok as you are still working on H1b

nop, it is still pending. but my worry is my h1 extension, it is about to expire now.

Looks like my case is becoming more interesting than ever. I requested USCIS to resend my I-485 denial letter and I waited for 20 days, still I havent got any, then I called USCIS regarding this and I just asked for the content of the letter, it says "We can not re-send the denial letter as it is sent only once, I need to check with local postal service and my lawyer did not submitted G-28 form along with it so no copies to my lawyer also " , but I checked with my lawyer, he says they did submitted G-28 along with my file and in my I-485 receipt it clearly shows my lawyer name and address in it.
It looks like it is big mess. how to proceed from here

Yeah I tried that already, from that only I came to know about my 485 is denied. At that time I requested to resend the denial letter, based on the reason my lawyer can re-open the case, but I havent received any letter yet. And my address is same, no change
