after losing in 2008 election..... this guy hates immigrants becoz immigrants overwhelmingly voted for obama.....

He is a flip flop Senator. He supported amnesty and now backing out. I think Republicans are scared. I was watched two debates. When "Immigration" question asked to candidates, they get nervous and words are chosen. Why is so tough to answer immigration questions? Herman Cain said that immigration is State issue and not federal.. go figure..... They are out of touch.

Immigration is definitely one of the toughest questions! As a matter of fact, I can get torn between AZ, Alabama laws as to whether it's completely right or wrong.

McCain is definitely a big flip-flopper, but that's good to get him to vote for your cause as he is flexible.
Well Herman Cain didn't exactly say that immigration is a state issue, but here's his quote
“Empower the states to do what the federal government won’t do, can’t do – empower the states. Give the power to the states to deal with the problem,”
Herman Cain: Label Cartels As Terrorists, Empower States To Address Immigration | CNSnews.com (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/herman-cain-label-cartels-terrorists-emp)

Very dangerous to quote anyone out of context

Hard to believe you could doubt the character of Sen John McCain. This is a veteran of Vietnam who was badly tortured for months and permanently injured, while protecting sensitive information.
Guess who's side the illegal supporters decide to take.

Mexican drug cartels have used cash and sexual favors as tools to corrupt U.S. border and customs agents, an inspector general investigation has found.

In exchange, agents allow contraband or unauthorized immigrants through inspection lanes, protect or escort traffickers or leak sensitive information, said Charles Edwards, acting inspector general of the Department of Homeland Security.

You sir, are as guilty as the clueless morons in the mainstream media. He may have an issue with illegal immigrants (that BTW reads an Oxymoron to me)

McCain did not say / imply or blame the legal immigrants. You see legal immigrants live within the laws - we do not BREAK laws. The illegal folks, unfortunately do. So let's not roll over to play the victim, because he isn't talking about folks like you and I, who pay taxes, have jobs and are law abiding educated and worldly taxpayers who contribute in part, to keep the towns, and the government running.

And for the record, I do believe there is "some" truth to his comments -- i.e. the security folks, and cops, could have addressed the wild fires better, if they weren't quite so overwhelmed watching the fence jumpers, and the Mexican drug cartels.

Again, TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT set of people.

Its like the "highest risk securities has highest returns" ...

a) McCain ( or any Politician) think about supporting amnesty because its 12-15 million votes eventually.... which is huge - can tilt any presidential election...

b) If the dice is not rolled properly they risk losing 12-15 millions AS WELL AS an big chunk of their base plus independents which is way more than 12-15 millions... It will be a disaster.

Even Presedent Bush was sympathetic towards them ( remember the speech - "Not amnesty BUT treat them without animosity" ) in the last phase of his tenure because the country's demographics is changing very fast and in 20-25 yrs GOP will have a hard time winning elections if Latino's never ever trust them from heart.

Good one.... (deleted sentence - tonyhk12)
It seems to me, regulation in the media is badly missing and is needed since they affect the viewpoints of millions. misleading reports by the media are dangerous.
Absolutely no way they might be getting special favors like mentioned above on CNN?

This article is a rare exception
Intel, IBM May Benefit From Green-Card Bill for Skilled Workers - Bloomberg (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-06-14/intel-microsoft-may-benefit-from-bill-for-more-skilled-worker-green-cards.html)

IMHO, the media mouthpiece have been bought out by special interests groups with deep pockets, to further their agenda. The WSJ, NY Times and the likes - the "opinion" pieces read more like public relations with a hidden agenda. Thank God for some balanced coverage from USA Today and C-SPAN, though I sense some erosion there too, in the recent past.

Personally, I CRINGE every time the idiot box idiots "read" out "World News". La Katie Couric - $15Million to "put together" and "read" out meaningless junk with little to no balanced coverage of world events. She claims to have worked more than 12 hours a day! Doing what exactly?! Wear make up and pick out a "look" for the evening? Dan Rather - was "fired" for NOT checking facts, before "reading" out his "news". Diane Sawyer continues her silly wishy washy Good Morning America sissy talk show on ABC "World" News coverage.

Newsflash “news readers” – it’s NOT all about your appearance, drama-infused tone or the intended "dedication” at the surface – we don’t care about your tricks and “celebrity” status, if you're unable put together a decent effort in doing your job. Most folks watching you have a brain cell or two, have traveled the world and see right through all that BS.

Can you blame more than some of the average American for being a out of touch with balance news coverage? A very sorry state indeed.
