Dear all,

I wish to extend my parents visitor visa for another 4 months. I am applying for it and few questions came up in my mind.

I am a housewife and when we apply for extension..who should be the sponsor for them? me or my husband? he works but we have joint accounts to prove financial support for them.

and what proof should we show to establish that my parents stay is temporary? USCIS website requires something on these lines. Should we show some kind of ticket itinerary to show that?Any property details of my parents in India or their bank statements?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When they have valid visa, and if you want to extend their stay for next 4 months here, why do u want to sponsor again.

For extensions too they are asking for financial support. We have to show a bank statement.

If you are on H4, I think your husband should be the sponsor.

Because even if you have common bank accounts, if they ask for the source of income.

Your husband can provide his Paychecks.

I suggest you strongly he need to sponsor them in that case.
