From immigration standpoint I think you should be okay till the time you are not paid here in the US but with the new tax law you will have to declare your off shore accounts (if more than $10K).

When you're India, your US visa is irrelevant. You can do whatever you want in India.

If you went to Bahamas on your tourist visa, would that affect your immigration status in India?

You will absolutely be able to work. Just be carefull that you are not on payroll in the US.

No. You would need work authorization for doing any work while physically present in US.

You will absolutely be able to work. Just be carefull that you are not on payroll in the US.

It's illegal to do any work when you are in the US - H4. Moreover will have to pay the tax here on global income...
