Hello,
I was working for company A and i was offered a job from another company B on June 13th, 2011. Company B was going to do my H1b transfer, and i sent them all my documents on June 13th, 2011. They told me that my start date would be June 27th, 2011. So i quit my previous job on June 22nd,2011. After which my new employer told me that they are still working on the transfer application.
I got a call from the attorney yesterday saying that she is going to file my H1b transfer(premium processing) tommorow (about 35 days from my last pay check).
what is my situation now?
1. Can you explain about the 60 days time frame?
2. I also read about 180 days time period here (comment made by permfiling)

My lawyer told me that i might have to goto my country to get a new i-94. My previous h1b is valid till 2013. And it is still valid, it is not revoked.
