I figured I'd share my experience with those who are in the same situation.

In short, I was a bit late filing for EAD renewal, as a result, my current EAD is expired and I still await new card.

Since in the past, my driver's license has been extended to the same length as my EAD was valid, I assumed I was loosing my driver's license too. Today, I called DMV just to ask them what am I to do without proper ID/driver's license. In some rural states, it's hard to get by without driving. I am in New Hampshire. To my surprise, they invited me to come in to DMV and extend it to another 60 days. I only had to bring expired license and receipt confirming EAD renewal application have been received.

Hope this helps someone avoid driving on expired license.

This is my experience with TSC on EAD/AP Renewal

Applied EAD Renewal on May 31st 2011...Nothing happened upto 70 days...
Followed the process from Wiki...

Created Expedited Request ,,Sent Letters to 2 Senators and Congressman,
Sent mail to USCIS and Fax...

Yesterday got CPO mail for both EAD/AP for self and spouse.

Please follow Wiki instructions.
