My employer sent me the following mail, informing me that my LC has been filed.
To:
COMPANY NAME
CONTACT NAME
COMPANY ADDRESS
Re: Case Number: A-xxxxx-xxxxx Received: xx/xx/xxxx
This is a confirmation email that the U.S. Department of Labor has received your response to the questionnaire regarding sponsorship of CANDIDATE NAME for the full time position of POSITION NAME. Your case will now continue to be processed.
My questions are:
1) How will I know if it has been filed under EB2 or EB3?
2) Is this the standard confirmation letter which DOL sends when labor application is filed?
3) The last line says “case will continue to be processed. Does this mean that the application has already been submitted and this letter is a reply to an audit response?
4) If anyone has a confirmation letter which DOL sends upon filing labor application, can you please share the same or confirm if the above format is indeed the correct reply from DOL?
