Hello,
Currently i am on L2 status. i have EAD but didn't find job. My husband's company is applying for L1 to H1B conversion for him as his L1 status is going to expire in April 2012 and if all goes well he will get it in OCT 2011.
From that time i will be on H4 status. i just want to know that, if i get any H1B sponsor, can i apply for H4 to H1 conversion after Oct 2011 if H1B cap of 2012 is not filled ?
1) if yes how long it will take to get process and approved ?
2) or if approved i will only be getting my H1B in OCT 2012?
3) if not is there any other way to file H4 to H1b conversion for 2012 cap?
4) or i can only apply for h4 to H1B in April 2012 for new cap 2013 ?
