I forwarded my mail to a new address . what will happen to the uscis mail, will it be forwarded.( EAD mail)

No USCIS mail gets forwarded , it goes back to USCIS as addresse changed his/her address and with changed address. USCIS has to mail it back to you. It might take anywhere between 30-45 days and some people also have experience of lost in mail.

I don't think USCIS mails get forwarded. Address change in USCIS is the only way.

1. change the address with USCIS on the phone (not by AR-11). I did this and the it was effective in 24 hours. Call them to report an issue with your case, get to the manual rep and update the address.

2. I am not sure about your move but if it is within city or something then Hold mail is an option. You can check it out on USPS website. you can mention the dates also to hold all your mail.

-- Although as most stated that USCIS mail does not get forwarded, my FP notice did get forwarded to Texas in April 2011.

I moved out of NV on April 02 and did a COA in Texas on April 05, 2011. However, the FP notice was delivered to my NV address between April 03-05 and it did get forwarded to me. I had set up mail fwd with local post office.

But I think I was lucky and if I were u, I won't take a chance.

Luckily I got the EAD card before the mail forward was effective.
But USCIS mails will not be forwarded , Return service requested mails wont be forwarded.
