There seems to be some movement in the recent Visa Bulletin. Any thoughts/calculations as to when EB – 2 priority date could touch Oct, 2007?

Blogs seems to indicate that EB – 2 Priority Date might retrogress in the upcoming visa bulletin(s). Any thoughts/calculations?

Am trying to help a friend who has a new job offer and PD is Oct, 2007.

Refer to EB2-EB3 Predictions thread by Teddy that has some guesstimates.
Based on the demand data, they already have 5k EB2I applications and the recent movement might generate another 4-5K of demand which would make it 10k Demand.
The assumption is that they might move the dates forward until they have enough applications to consume the spillover from other categories towards the end of the year.
As to how soon they might move the dates is just a guess and my guess is that they will move by Dec as they need time to process all these applications

These anonymous ids mean a lot to people using them. Ask any of IV moderators. If their post is deleted they will fight tooth and nail, abuse IV and threaten to leave IV. :o
