Processing times for I140 filed in first quarter of 2009

Hi,

I just got my labor approved & my company is currently working on filing the I-140.

I am a little confused with the information from the trackers & Processing times mentioned by USCIS.

Can someone help me understand how long does USCIS take to process I-140 (lets assume there is no RFE) it it s filed in the next one month.

I filed mine in aug 2007 and it is still pending at TSC. Mine could be an extreme case. The average would be an year atleast....

But, USCIS is promising a 4 month processing time starting Sept 2009. So, you may get lucky.

These days they are processing I-140 faster. It may take between 2-4months.

One notable item is the PERM processing in Atlanta has slowed down substantially and that is leading the USCIS to have lesser I-140 to be processed.

My I-140 app was sent on middle Feb and I do not have any updates yet..will let you know if something happens.

looks like tsc is processing the applications at the fastest pace it can... i have heard of approvals withing 25 days from the filing date...:)

my I140 was mailed out yesterday & received by texas service center today. now the wait begins for its approval. i hope i get a quick approval as many others in this forum.

Mine was approved within 2 weeks of receipt notice and about 4 weeks from mailing date at TSC.
