My friend supposed to get his driver license from New Hampshire DMV by mail. He applied license renvewal in New Hampshire DMV after his current license expired. Now he relocated to new state and did change of address. Will USPS forward the New Hampshire DMV driver license mail to the new address or will it be returned to DMV? Please help.

Call DMV new Hampshire and ask - also call USPS and ask

Usually DLs are not forwarded by USPS because the address on the license can't be different than your address atleast when you receive it.

Thanks for the information. We will check with USPS. But we can not call NH DMV. Some one told that if call to NH DMV, they are not going to issue Driver license. Weird..

Yes she can use EAD to get DL.
Using EAD for DL issuance purpose WON'T invalidate her H1B status.

How come did you think using EAD for DL can invalidate your H1B..

I am just thinking of what were you thinking and how did you make the connection between the 2. Please explain.

Also if you use the EAD card as photo identity to go to a +18 club , that will also I guess will not invalidate your H1B.

Relax dude. Most people here are scared of their own shadows in this economy and xenophobic environment. The need to maintain status is paramount for all people. Though I do agree that sometimes the level of questions you get over here can really get out of hand. Its good that there are many people who patiently answer the same questions again and again.

H1 status ends only when EAD is used for employment. This is the most common opinion from immig attorneys.

USCIS has not clarified the grey area where EAD is used for moonlighting / second job when the H1 status is still maintained with the gc sponsoring employer.
