Hi, I have received RFE on my I-140 from NSC on my 3 year degree. Do you know any education evaluation agency which could provide equivalency of 3 year Indian degree to US bachelor's equivalent without combining other diplomas or experience. My LC required bachelor's degree or equivalent to US bachelors. My options are:
1. wes.org. they need certified copies of marksheets directly from the university. working on it. it might take a while.
2. Sheila danzig. her success with NSC is not great. i hear NSC does not recognize her arguments.
3. trustforte. they would not do it without combining.

Is there any other reputed edu eval agencies that could help me?
Any recommendation on a good attorney who has had success with NSC in handling 3 year degree RFE? Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi emgk,

Which category did u apply, EB2 or EB3? If you have applied under EB2, certainly Indian 3 yr. degree is not valid.

NSC considers each case on a case by case basis. They have made it clear that they won't accept a simple evaluation showing the equivalency. We have had a good number of approvals at NSC and Texas, but not 100%. I suggest you move forward, however you decide, and meanwhile file another Labor - EB3, skilled worker: 3 years of experience (NOT a bachelor's degree as it is not necessary and you may end up back where you are), as a back up. We have found that the approvals increase with attorneys whose briefs or motions are strong and repeat the references we supply.
