RFE on 485 in a failing company

Hey Guys,

I got an email notification for an RFE on my I485. I am happy about this because i am seeing at least some action and dont have any reason to suspect any problems... however, i do have one question: I have a permanent full time job in a publishing company of good repute... however, like most publishing companies, this one is failing and though we might have good cash, we are likely to be sold... we do have losses overall and are struggling to generate revenue growth. will the uscis have trouble with this as far as my 485 is concerned?

Usually "anything company related" is an issue at 140 stage. 485 has diffrerent kinds of RFEs. RFEs at 485 usually want EVL or Birth Certificate or other documents or you may have RFE to explain any gaps in statuses.

As you have already invoked AC21, I am assuming that your 140 has been appproved. So don't stress. Things will be fine

thanks chanduv23. i hope you are right. yes, my 140 is approved. has anyone had rfe that asks for all sources of income? i have a schedule k from a company i started last year. however that company has 0 income 0 loss... i started that company after 6 months of my 485 being applied, in other words, i started that company while on EAD status. i did not earn anything from it so far and i dont do any work for that company so far. will they care about this? ah i am so excited and also anxious about this thing...
