I ported my EB3 I-140 with Nov, 2004 priority date to EB2. EB3 I140 was approved from Nebraska Service Center and EB2 I140 was approved from Texas Service Center. I called up USCIS and asked for interlinking my I-485 which was applied with EB3 I140 to EB2 I140. I was told to call back in 2 weeks to find out the status.
Is there anything else that I need to do. I just want to make sure that I cover all the bases.

I was in same state. I was asked to write a letter to TSC after which I got a letter that my pending I485 is being transferred to NSC. A week later, I got another email saying the other service center has received the application and is being processed.

Has anyone gone through the same process? Any idea around how much time does it take for NSC to link the cases and move forward?

My situation is similar.

My EB3-I140 and I485 is @ TSC
and EB2-I140 is @ NSC

I did the following for interlinking
1) InfoPass
2) Lawyer sent letter
3) I also sent letter.
3) Sent email to USCIS

InfoPass IO told me that either your EB2-I140 would be transferred to TSC
or I485 would be transferred to NSC
In my case EB2-I140 was transferred to TSC

For me, not sure which process kicked off the process but it took approx. 4 week
I did get email that my file is interlinked.

Unfortunately I got a letter from USCIS after 1 week to given additional info for interlinking
So I took infoPass to resolve this conflicting info
The InfoPass IO did confirm that my case was interlinked
I again reconfirmed this by talking to 2nd level IO

Do you have the format of the letter that you have sent or your attorney have sent?
Also can you let me know the address to where you have sent the letters?

Hello friends,

I am in the similar situation, old EB3 140 and 485 are at Texas service center and new EB2 140 is at Nebraska center. I did the following

1. Attorney sent a letter to Nebraska center to send the new EB2-140 to Texas.
2. I called up USCIS and logged a case for EB3 to EB2 porting and move my EB2-140 from Nebraska to Texas
3. Officer said that it will take 20 days to get the details from Nebraska and after that my case will be picked up.
4. I am supposed to follow up after 20 days if the new 140 has been sent to Texas
5. Application will be approved and I am asked to ensure that on my mail box I putup a slip with the names of mine and my dependents as the card will be delivered in mail box and will be based on names.

Regards,
Deepak
