EB3 to EB2 Green Card Filing Question

Hello

I have been working on H1 with my current from the past 5 yrs,they are filing my Greencard in EB3category(I have 5 yrs previous experience and a bachelors Degree)
I would like to know if I move from my current company and switch from EB3 to EB2 category
Can I port the Priority Date of 2007
Can I use my current experience (5yrs with my current company) and my previous experience of 5 yrs total of 10 yrs for filing in EB2 category.

Can I port the Priority Date of 2007---Yes you can, if the Job requirement from new company falls in Eb2( BS+5 Years)
Can I use my current experience (5yrs with my current company) and my previous experience of 5 yrs total of 10 yrs for filing in EB2 category.---Yes. When you join the new company your total experince will be 15 years. Just make sure that atleast 5+ years of this is needed to perform your future EB2 role

Try to convince your company/lawyer to file it in EB2 category.
EB3 is so backlogged you may not get your GC for long time.
