I am current in December. But i'm not from India, so I guess it does not matter so much. Guys, if you look at my past, I've been always prompt in my opinions and fair too. However, recently Admins have started removing my messages because I don't support HR3012. On ,t everybody says that ImmigrationVoice has become entirely Indian site, which is sad because I've supported IV for years now.

I hope the admins will soon change their position regarding this because initially this website welcomed every nation.

Congratulations to every one who is current :) I hope all of us will end up with that little green thing soon. Thank you!

I am curious why anyone wouldn't support 3012 though - unless ofcourse one is a beneficiary of the current unfair system:)

Congrats to you.

Think about people waiting for 10 years+. Their green card wait is just 10+ years and they started their journey long before that. Waiting for just few years more is not acceptable to you but it is ok for others to wait years and years? EB is not diversity, it is based on talent. If you have the same talent as others why should others be treated differently?

Its not only 10+ years to get the GC, all those years people needs to be in H1B and maintain the status. If you are on H1, you will know the pain.

Current after 10 years.. Wait is still not over yet..

What all can happen in 10 years -

- Two Presidents can loose their Jobs
- Revolutionize the way we communicate
- Multiple revolution in the world
- Worlds three most dangerous people can be killed
- 5 new countries are created or received independence
- world economy get into shamble - and recover - two times
- Company I work for can grow from 20 employees to 1000 employees
- Apple's market cap can increase more than 20 folds

or

- a person has to wait to get their Greencard ..

Welcome to America !!!!!

Really happy for all those who are current, particularly for those who will now be able to file the 485 and get the EAD/AP etc. However, for EB3I the bulletin has not been that good. We have to continue our strong support to the current IV action item. Keep that in mind even as you enjoy the good news.
I would encourage the IV leaders to issue a note congradulating the members that benefitted from this bulletin as well as encouraging them and others to continue supporting the current action item. :):)

i know every indian is supporting 3012 and every row is against it. Now it is quite understandable as it benefits indians and puts row at disadvantage. (now i am not sayin whats fair and unfair) i am purely talking about advantage and disadvantage). but let me say this
IF
"we give the spill over visas to EB3 india instead of EB2 that way there is no increase in visa number and that will decrease the EB3 backlog further. Lets add the clause to the existing bill 3012. make it strictly FIFO. it will make EB2 wait increase by 2 yrs but spillover from EB1/4/5 goes strictly to oldest priority date and not EB2. the question is will EB2 support this? will they agree to wait a yr or two more so that the entire EB3 who are waiting atlest for 6+ yrs will benefit? If EB2 india agrees to it then you can ask row to support the bil 3012 and ask them to understand the pain of EB3 india and sacrifice and all. otherwise why would you expect them support something which puts them at complete disadvantage.
but i am pretty sure EB2 india wont support it. infact if i am correct some were even trying to campaign against porting. so that EB3 cannot get the additional 5000 visas a yr from spillover.
all i am trying to say is stop telling ROWers to understand your pain and sacrifice and all that since they wont. you guys ask them to put their feet in your shoes and understand your pain. Why cant you put yourself in thier shoes and understand their loss if the country cap is removed. people only support what is beneficial to them.
I repeat i am an indian and i do support this bill. plus it wont benefit me whether this bill passes or not. and i have believed nothing is fair in life you have to live with it and try to work things to your advantage in an unfair world. please dont ask me to explain things to you i wont bother responding the bashing that will follow.

Nice try. Divide and rule does not get out of your blood haa??

You already know that any amendment to the Bill will kill it.

You can start fight here(with your divide and rule policy) and lessen the support. But no one is going to fall for that. Thanks giving is over dude. No more tricks.
