Hi,
My current H1 with company A expires Feb 27, 2012 and A is in the process of filing for extension. I am on my 8th year of H1 but I have an approved I140 from previous employer (who happens to be B)
Meanwhile I have an offer from company B (to rejoin), and they will initiate H1 transfer sometime in December.
Question # 1: Do I face any risks because of my above situation, namely
- I have completed 6 years on H1, but have an approved I140 from previous employer
- My H1B is expiring in less than 3 months
- My current employer A is filing H1B extension, which may clash with H1 transfer by company B
Question # 2: is there any recommendation on what steps I should take to avoid any risks?
