Hi,
I am planning to go to Canada (Toronto/Ottawa) for my H1B stamping. My current H1B got expired in Oct, 2011 and i have the approval I-797 to go for the stamping. I did my first stamping when i was in europe (Not from my home country - India), since i used to be in europe before moving to US.
1) Has anyone recently done their H1B stamping from toronto/ottawa? what was your experience? How is DHL involved in this process and how do we pay the fees etc?
2) What is their appointment time recently. I have heard its 4 weeks, but is it possible to get it in Ottawa before the 4 week period?
3) How long it takes to get the H1B stamping once you file the application in US consulate?
4) What documents usually are required (I-797, pay stubs, education and experiecne letters) , anything which i missed?
5) Or shall i consider Mexico for the visa, do i need visa to go there?
Pls help as it would be my first time to get H1B stamping from Canada.
