Is it safe to use relatives address for AR-11 ?

Hi,

I keep moving every 6 mths to 1 year to different places but maintain one permanent address,i.e. my relatives , for all mailing address for most of my important mails. Can I do the same with USCIS mails as well. I was thinking of using AR-11 to update the address. If asked to prove, I can always the other documents like bank statements which are going to the same place from past 1+ year.

Please suggest.

Ask the lawyer but I think AR11 was meant to track where you are living..so you have to give the address where you physically are!

one of my friends recently received RFEs and is having a tough time proving his address bcoz doesn't have a lease in his name. bank statements etc don't count.. also if you are married , you should have spouses name on lease etc..

How he can prove if he'z sharing house with other person and lease is on name of other person?he might stay in a independent house where no lease is required.

Which address we need to provide(on AR11) if we are staying 5 days in one place(where we are working) and 2 days in one place(where family lives)

I need help in filling the AR11 form. I am changing residence after 8 years and need to file AR11 online. What should i fill in column asking I AM IN THE US AS A: 1. VISITOR, PERMANENT RESIDENCE, STUDENT AND OTHER. Right now i am on H1 and my wife is working on EAD. What should fill for my self and for my wife. My daughter is on H4.
The second column askes your stay in US expires on: Which date should i put . H1 expiry as i have already filed I-485 (Adjusment of status) and for my wife shall i put H4 expiry or EAD expiry since she is working on EAD. Gurus your help will be hight appreciated.

I am on EAD and selected Other and filled 'Pending AOS' in the comments.even you should do the same for H1,EAD & H4 as you have applied for AOS.I may be wrong , but check with others too.

If you're sharing address or just renting a room from family or friend, then affidavit signed by your friend should satisfy the RFE. Driver License should also be enough proof of address.
