AP Renewal Date - I131 date or I-94 Date

I have tried searching for the answer to this but couldn't find one.

AP expiry date on I-131 approval is Sept 2009 (Language in AP Approval is - Presentation of this original document prior to Sept 28 2009) while when I came back from India last Dec - Immigration Officer at port of entry stamped Paroled till Dec 7 2009 on I94.

My question is which date should be used as base for AP renewal - the one on AP Approval or the one on I-94?

If you want to travel out of US and come back before Sep09 ,then current AP is good.
Renewal will extend your dates and helps for travel with in the validity dates.

I94 is the status and wont have any value for your renewal. Just to be on safer side interms of travel,get AP renewal before it expires i.e before sep 09.
