I am new to this forum. First, I would like to thank the organizers for running such a forum.
I will be very glad if someone can answer my following question.
My name in the passport:
Surname: (blank as I dont have surname)
Name: ABC XYZ
In H1 extension (approval, I797)
Family Name: Narayanan Sangameswaran
Given Name: No Given Name
So now the name has become: Narayanan Sangameswaran, No Given Name
Will I face problem for visa stamping if I carry this approval with the above mentioned name? Will the US embassy in India can search my H1 approval in PIMS database?
Should I split my name in the passport and file I-102 for reissue of H1 extension?
While my I-102 in process, can I travel as it looks like I-102 takes 4 to 5 mths for reissue.
