Hi,
My wife is in a State University and has full Graduate Assistantship. She came to US on H4, and her COS H4 to F1 was approved in Oct 2010. She is currently in her 4th semester.
She attended for F1 stamping recently india and her visa was denied on 214(b) insufficient GRE score. As per the school she has enough GRE score and she is also in good standing with 3.9 GPA. Visa officer asked her to come back with a new GRE score.
She wrote GRE again, but the new score is lower than her old score. Now, she is planning to attend for visa with the old score with additional documents, letter from Graduate school showing that she met GRE scores requirements, has full assistantship, never violated F1 status and registered for classes for spring 2012.
1. Please let me know anyone has similar situation? if you are in similar situation, how did you overcome the situation?
2. In case, her F1 gets denied, can she come back on H4 by attending for visa again?
