Pending EB2 folks with PD , please gather here

According to latest demand data published by USCIS http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/EmploymentDemandUsedForCutOffDates.pdf (Link), EB2 demand data prior to Jan-1-2008 is only 49 (4 China, 45 India) & prior to Jan-1-2009 is only 12 (2 China, 10 India)

But I think there are a lot of folks pending who have been current for at least a month or more and haven't received approvals yet.

We want to understand how USCIS comes up with these numbers, so lets gather here .

I don't know how USCIS comes up with those numbers, but I know there are quite a few folks like myself still waiting with PDs in 2006 and earlier who have applied for the 485s in July 2007.

That's something I hope someone has an answer for. I have tried all possible avenues to get an answer and the best I got was "USCIS works with various other agencies besides FBI, and at this time they are waiting for response from some of these agencies". That was after making my congressman's office ask them why it is taking so long when my applicaiton was pre-adjudicated and FBI name check completed in 2007 (as per infopass officer).

This wait is really frustrating and put a lot of my plans in jeopardy... I really wish no ones goes thru this.. it's one thing waiting for your PD to become current, but waiting for so long after your PD becomes current without even knowing why you are waiting and if you will ever get an approval (or god forbid, denial).

Looks like they have mistaken your case and catagorized with EB3. There is no reason for EB2 to be pending since 06. :D:D

If you were a donor IV might have helped you out. Hopefully soon after the end of this month or by mid Feb moderators will consider reoppening the gates to donorship status and make us all "current":D:D Let me be clear that I am not requesting anything before 3012 is passed:D.

I'm pretty sure that's not an issue with my case, if it was, I would have been told that my PD is not current or somethign in that terms when I tried to contact them..
btw, here's an older thread I created last year when demand data was released in feb 2007, and there are quite a few folks from that thread who are still waiting...

I suggest you file a writ of Mandamus.
