10 days Unpaid Leave on H1b. does it affect h1 transfer

1. I recently went to India for my H1 stamping and since I did not have any vacations left I went on Unpaid leave for 10 days. Does it effects my H1 status in any way? I dont have a paytub for the time I was on vacation for stamping (as it falls exactly for a pay period).

2. I want to transfer my H1 now. Is it safe to do H1 transfer immeiately after stamping with just 2 pay stubs? Please advise. I can get a letter stating leave of absence from my current company if required.

Were you entitled/getting 'benefits' like: med ins,/403 during LoA ?.

Yes all my benefits were continued. Its just that I have not been paid for those days of Vacation.

I believe , you should be okay.... technically you were not 'separated' and were on the pay roll....but consulate staff does all crazy things...

your company shud have no problem to give you LoA, if the same was approved before you proceeded on leave
