EB-2 eligibility is also based on the fact that the job being filled/offered requires a advance degree/training/experience. the company has to justify why it needs to be EB-2.

Also, current employer job's experience cannot be used to qualify against EB-2 requirement, if the same employer is filing for greencard, unless there is more than 50% variance in current job and future job (for which gc is being filed).
