Hi,
My first employer filed my GC in EB3 category in July/2007 giving me the pre-approved labor certificate. My I140 and I485 (along with EAD-I765) was filed in July/2007 and I140 got approved in 7-8months. Later I was called to provide my fingerprints and EAD was issued. Then I moved to a new employer to consider a full time position and filed AC-21 with the new employer.
I don't know what is my "priority date" and I don't have the Labor certificate (which actually is a substitute).
What I want is 2things:
1. How to get my labor certificate and procedure & cost involved?
2. Can my new employer file a new GC case with EB2 category so that I can port it to my old priority date to get my GC sooner? What is the eligibility for filing a case in EB2 category?
