Hi,

I recived a RFE for my 485 as follows:

"The service acknowledges the birth certificate submitted for XXX YYY. However, this birth certificate is not sufficient to establish the birth and parentage of XXX YYY. Most notably, the certificate utilizes initials and does not provide the full complete name of the parents. Therefore you must submit the following additional evidence.

It then lists hospital records, medical records school records census etc as the possible evidences. It went on to say that affidavits from two individuals may also be sufficient.

Now I have baptism certificate and school certificate, but it still has initals of my parents in it. The only place I see my parents inital's expanded is in my parents passport.

I am planning to submit affidavit from my parents expanding their intials.

Will it be possible for me to submit notarized copy of my parents passport which lists their complete name also as evidence(my name is nowhere listed in their passport)

Anyone has any experience in such a case...please provide input.

Thanks in advance

I received a document from one of my friend dedicated for the purpose of birth certificate. This document was given to him by his employer's attorney firm which is a big firm. He works for Dell. That birth certificate document states following:

"Your parents’ passport identity pages will not be submitted with your application."

Hence I would say you cannot submit parents passport.

I checked my birth certificate my dad's name has initials and my moms name mentioned as maiden name which is without initials. My dad passed away and my mother is in USA with green card. I just got affidavit from my mom with notary. I will be submitting two affidavit one is by me and another one is from my mom.

I don't know whether I am going to get RFE on this.

You need to do that after your green card, if you want to be a citizen of USA, else go back to your born country or be second-class citizens here!
