Hello
I completed my Masters and was working for employer A under OPT. My employer agreed to apply for H1B petition. I was not confident that it will go through, hence I applied for STEM extention while my H1B petition was in process. I received my STEM extenstion card and valid till January 2013. I then received I-797B from USCIS. Looks like my employer didnt submit proper docs hence I797A was not received.
I do not understand if my STEM EAD card is valid as my H1 petition was approved. I do not understand what status I am in right now? Whether F1 or H1? Can somebody help me understand?
