Hello,
While working on DS160 form for my would be wife (applying H4 visa for her), there are couple of questions related to her marital status that I am not sure how to answer. I am planning to put my response as it is in quotes below.
1. In personal info section, status of the applicant - "single"
2. Under travel section, Person/Entity paying for the trip - "other person"
3. Under US contact section - "other"
My responses are accurate as of now as we are not married yet. How ever, we are going to the consulate few days after marriage. So, puzzled as in how to answer these questions. I am little concerned that mentioning as "other" instead of "spouse" reduce any chances of getting her the visa.
Your responses or any experiences are really appreciated.
