Hi All,
I am currently on an L1B working for a large Multinational, my visa is getting expired on the 4th of May 2012 and my I-94 is also getting expired on the same day. My company wants me to go India and get my extension done and come back (They have stopped extending visas from here). Now the problem is that if i got to India for my visa extension and it gets rejected, i will not be able to come back.
While i go for my visa stamping I will leave my wife and kid here in the US. We are also expecting our second child around June and my wife cannot travel back. We are hoping that the visa extension goes normal and I am back. But in case the visa extension gets rejected then what are my options. Is there any we can extend our I-94 based on medical grounds? Any help or suggestions are really appreciated. Thank you.

Go to Canada - L1 extensions are a cake walk there..No questions !!!
One of my friends L1 extension petition was rejected in USA..He then went to Canada got his stamping. No issues..

Convince you company HR that stamping in Canda is much easier !!!
