I-94 expiry & L1B to L1A Conversion

Hi,

Urgent question:

I am on L1B and my I-94 expires on 14-Mar-2012.
If my employer files for L1A before 14-Mar-2012 and gets the USCIS receipt number, will I be legally allowed to stay in the US and continue work until the L1A decision arrives ?
