My Attorney applied I-131 (advance Parole) together for me, my wife and my daughter. We received our Combo card (EAD+Advance Parole) in first week of March. However my daughter's I-131 application is still being processed without any updates on the USCIS website (almost 3 weeks after received our cards). When i checked with USCIS Customer service, one of the representative (L2) checked her application and then advised me to file an I-765 application for my daughter even though she is five and not going to work.

Is it required to file I-765 along with I-131 for a minor to speed up advance parole processing? I am kind of confused at this recommendation and would really appreciate if someone can clarify this.

PD - Mar, 2009
I-131 approved for me/wife - 03Mar2012.

I do not know if it will speed up AP but why not apply EAD? You do not have to spend any money . Just the time it takes to complete a form.

I have applied for EAD renewal on 01/04/2012, as of 02/27/2012 the on-line status shows Card Prduction Ordered, but I didn't receive the card. After couple of week I called USCIS customer service and I was informed by representative that since your card expires in 3rd week of APR 2012, we put hold-on sending the card and you will receive it in 45 days.

Could ony one please let me know, did any one have similar issue and is this common in recieveing EAD renewal?
